BRH Reference Platform With the BRH, ADI Engineering, Inc. has created the
first truly big-endian capable evaluation platform and reference design for the Intel®
XScale microarchitecture.
By combining the industry-leading XScale
performance with flexible endian support, the BRH can accelerate time-to-market of
demanding data communications, networking, and high-performance embedded computing
applications.
Designed for Communications and Embedded
Computing
What sets the BRH apart is its use of a Xilinx® Virtex-E-based (XCV200E) Big Endian
Companion Chip (BECC). The BECC implements ADI Engineering's XScale-optimized SDRAM
controller that is fully capable of sustaining an industry-leading 800 MB/s of SDRAM
bandwidth, up to 10x the sustained memory bandwidth of first-generation XScale
designs.
ADI stands ready to create customized product
designs to leverage the performance of the BRH in your application with unprecedented
speed and cost effectiveness. ADI also can provide low cost production of customized
products, managing supply chain issues for you and allowing you to focus on your core
business.
