Global Waters new RM100 Remote Radio Telemetry System
uses powerful radio transceivers to seamlessly connect
you with your remote monitoring sites. Now you can
communicate with any number of remotely placed
monitoring stations via a wireless communication system
from the comfort of your office or vehicle.
Radio Modems
The RM100 Remote Radio Telemetry System packages use
rugged, industrial 2-way radio modems that are designed
for seamless communications with Global Waters serial
dataloggers. The powerful 1-watt, 900mHz radios require
no license and are capable of line-of-site wireless
communications of up to 15 miles with the proper
antennas. Built-in error correction assures accurate
data transfer between radio telemetry systems. Each
remote radio telemetry system package has a unique
address, so you never have to worry about cross-talk or
interference between one radio system and another.
Remote Radio Telemetry System Software
Global Waters great Global Access wireless
communications software has an easy to use, intuitive
interface. The built-in address book allows you to
quickly set up your radio telemetry system monitoring
sites with a unique identifier and name, and you can add
new sites at any time. The remote radio telemetry
system software allows you to get a current reading from
any of your sensors, download the logged data, sample
continuously and even reprogram your logger just as
though you were at the site.
Packaged Wireless Communication Systems
To make them even easier to use the RM100 Remote Radio
Telemetry System packages are offered in four
pre-configured, ready to deploy systems, and we included
one convenient starter kit. Everything you need is
included to get your wireless communication system up
and running quickly. One server (base) unit and one
client (remote) unit is required to make a complete
radio telemetry system. Many remote radio telemetry
systems can report back to a single base. We can also
help develop a custom radio telemetry system for you.
RM100-SFL
Server, Fixed Location: This is the best choice when you
have an existing enclosure or the radio telemetry server
system will be mounted in a dry location such as an
office. This radio telemetry system includes a server
modem, RS232 serial cable, AC adaptor, 25 antenna
cable, permanent mount 6dBi omni-directional antenna
with 2 pole mount hardware, manual and software. We
also include a 3dBi rubber coated stubby antenna which
is helpful in the testing and setup process.
RM100-SMP
Server, Mobile Platform: This is ideal short term
monitoring projects or for doing drive by data
collection. The rechargeable 2.2Ahr battery will
operate this wireless communication package for up to 12
hours on a single charge. The wireless communications
package includes the server modem mounted inside a
weatherproof case with a 2.2Ahr battery and power
switch, AC charger, RS232 serial cable, magnetic base
5dBi mobile omni-directional antenna with 4 cable,
manual and CDROM.
RM100-CSR
Client, Short Range: This is the perfect choice for
applications where your remote monitoring stations are
under 10 miles line-of-sight. This radio telemetry
system package includes a weatherproof case with
mounting hardware for 2 pole, client radio with 5Ahr
battery, radio to logger serial cable, smart charger, 15
foot antenna cable, 9dBi Yagi antenna with 2 hardware,
manual and CDROM. For long term monitoring we offer
optional solar panels and hardware mounting kits.
RM100-CLR
Client, Long Range: For remote monitoring sites that are
up to 15 miles line-of-sight or where you may have a few
trees or other obstructions in shorter range sites, this
radio telemetry system package features a higher gain
antenna for extra distance. The radio telemetry system
package includes a weatherproof case with mounting
hardware for 2 pole, client radio with 5Ahr battery,
radio to logger serial cable, smart charger, 15 foot
antenna cable, 13dBi Yagi antenna with 2 hardware,
manual and CDROM. For long term monitoring we offer
optional solar panels and hardware mounting kits.
RM100-CSK
Client/Server Starter Kit: This kit is ideal for those
who have more experience in electronic instrumentation.
We make it easy to install and configure the RM100
wireless communications system in just about any
application where you want to interface with one of our
Global Water serial loggers. Choose from the list of
higher gain antennas for ranges beyond what the included
stubby antennas can handle. The RM100-CSK includes one
server, one client, two 6 rubber coated stubby
antennas, RS232 serial cable, radio to logger serial
cable, 2 AC adaptors, manual and CDROM.
