The TI MSP430 is one of the best low-power 16 bit microcontrollers available. With this starter kit, you have everything you need to develop code for the device. The package includes:

4K code limited version of the ImageCraft ICC430 C development toolkit. This is exactly the same tool as the regular ICC430 except that the output is limited to 4K bytes.

Demo version of the NoICE430 debugger.

The D413 Evaluation Kit from SoftBaugh. This kit is based on the MSP430F413 and comes complete with a LCD, a temperature sensor, push button and an LED. This is the same kit used by the TI "4-30" Day demonstration. You power it using a cell battery (included)!

ICC430 4K Edition Toolset is the same as the other ICC430 editions except that generated code size is limited to 4K bytes. You may also purchase this starter kit with the STD version of the compiler, or upgrade later.

NOTE: Due to the low cost nature of the 4K Code Size Limited Edition Tools version, no printed manual of ICC430 is included with that package.
