HCS12 Development Kits

ChipS12 - HCS12 Controller Module with DIP40 Footprint.

ChipS12 is a miniaturized controller module based on a powerful 16-bit HCS12 microcontroller. It can be easily plugged into a DIP40 socket on the user's application PCB. It uses the Motorola MC9S12C32 with 32KB Flash memory and 2KB RAM. The microcontroller provides a wide range of peripheral functions, such as serial interfaces (SCI, SPI, CAN), 10-bit A/D converter, 16-bit timer and PWM channels. It has a builtin MSCAN module and physical CAN bus interface.

CHIPS12/ENT - A complete development package, intended to kick start your development work. It contains a ChipS12 controller module including 5V CAN bus driver and RTC, a carrier board including a large number of useful peripherals (such as LEDs, buttons, buzzer and LC-display) and a set of cables. Tool software, documentation and example programs are provided on a CD-ROM.

S12 Compact Kit - This is the core module in the ACPRD (Alarm Control Panel Reference Design) Project. Notice that the actual Panel board will NOT be produced.

HCS12 "T-Board" - with the new Motorola MC9S12DG256 CPU with 256KBytes of Flash and 12KBytes of RAM. Compatible with the Motorola DP256 EVB.

RAMBOK.256 SRAM add-on board for the HCS12 T-Board. Allows you to develop programs in fast SRAM instead of Flash.

CARDS12.D64 - CardS12 is a versatile credit card-sized controller module equipped with a MC9S12D64. It has 64K bytes of flash and 4K bytes of RAM.

CARDS12.D256 - Same as the CardS12.D64 except with MC9S12DG256 microcontroller. Besides more memory, it has CAN interfaces and SPI modules.


HC12 Development Kits

Card12.DG128A - Another credit card sized HC12 microcontroller module with 128K bytes of flash memory and two independent CAN interfaces. The HC912DG128 also provides the following enhancements:

  • 2 KB EEPROM
  • 8 KB RAM
  • I2C-Bus Interface

Card12.D60A - A single-chip HC12 microcontroller module with 60K bytes of Flash memory and CAN.
