The Serial/Parallel peripheral boards combine 16C550 high speed UARTs (with FIFO) and a bi-directional parallel port for users requiring additional peripherals. PC compatible serial and parallel ports provide additional I/O necessary for many demanding applications. Serial/Parallel Peripheral Kit (99-0014 for Flashlite 386Ex and 99-0032 for LogicFlex) includes the Serial/Parallel board, 2 board 40 pin bus cable, standoff kit, and manual. The optional LogicFlex A/D upgrade kit (99-0033) adds 8 channels of 12-bit A/D to the Serial/Parallel board. The A/D option is based on the Maxim MAX197 chip which features software-selectable input ranges of +/-10V, +/-5, 0V to 10V, and 0V to 5V. Shown below is a 4 serial port and 1 parallel port peripheral board which is available for use with the LogicFlex controller.
The 4 Serial/Parallel expansion board provides (4) 16C550 high speed UARTs (with FIFO) and a bi-directional parallel port for users requiring up to a total of six serial ports for their LogicFlex based application. PC compatible serial and parallel ports provide additional I/O necessary for peripherals within many demanding applications. These features make the LogicFlex a versatile solution for applications involving networking, embedded web and serial protocol conversions. 4Serial/Parallel Peripheral Kit (99-0038 for LogicFlex) includes the 4Serial/Parallel board, 2 board 40 pin bus cable, standoff kit, and manual. |
