The µFlashTCP-EP is a ready-to-use platform ideal for bridging existing equipment to Ethernet networks.

Derived from the highly successful µFlashTCP, the µFlashTCP-EP packs a DOS based computer with 10BASE-T Ethernet and PC compatible serial ports into a small, rugged enclosure.

The powerful Intel 386Ex processor and DOS operating system allow design and debugging in a familiar environment, while industry standard connectors allow direct connection to 10BASE-T (NE2000 compatible) networks.

With additional features such as the watchdog timer, on board voltage regulator, RS-485 serial port capability and status LEDS, the µFlashTCP-EP covers many designs requiring TCP/IP connectivity.

Options for the µFlashTCP-EP include the addition or 512K SRAM, 512K Flash, M-Systems DiskOnChip products or battery backed clock calendar with 128K SRAM using the 32 Pin Dip socket. To externally interface the digital I/O lines, please contact the factory for optional interface packages.

The µFlashTCP-EP Development Kit (99-0041) includes µFlashTCP-EP with 512KRam/512KFlash, Ethernet Cable, 110 VAC Adapter, Users Manual, and Borland C/C++ V4.52 Compiler. (220Vin Development Kit 99-0042 available.)

Optional Configurations:

For accessibility to the I/O lines of the µFlashTCP-EP

[ µFlashTCP-EP I/O BreakOut ] The I/O BreakOut upgrade provides 10 I/O lines with ground via wire terminals through the front faceplate. This option can be purchased as a peripheral kit (99-0048) or as a complete µFlashTCP-EP I/O BreakOut assembly (89-0047).

If your project does not require a packaged solution, please see the µFlashTCP.

For the µFlashTCP-EP without an enclosure, use part number
84-0040.
