MaxStream provides the wireless link used for diagnostic reporting within systems created by a leading escalator and elevator manufacturer. MaxStream technology was chosen for its reliability at long range.

This customer transmits the diagnostic data within its public transport systems through varying degrees of harsh environments. The environments are made harsh by introducing RF interferers like building materials, fixed encroachments on RF line-of-sight areas, and the number of people using the escalators and elevators at any given point in time.

MaxStream's phenomenal receiver sensitivity comes into play when wireless signals attenuate, or weaken, as RF interferers are introduced into the environment. Where other radios lose the ability to detect weakened signals, MaxStream radios continue to communicate as in this particular application.
