A clear display of the data sent over a CAN bus is an important tool for tracing errors and checking out new systems. By assigning symbolic identifiers (CANMON) you can give the display greater clarity and speed up the troubleshooting process. CANMON for DOS enables all the activities on a CAN bus connected to the PC to be clearly displayed. Your “old” PCs can be used as highly adequate CAN monitors.

The PCAN-View for Windows® program corresponds to the CANMON version without the symbolic data display.

PCAN-View can be obtained free of charge from www.peak-system.com and is included in the items supplied with PCAN-Dongle, PCAN-Dongle PRO, PCAN-ISA and PCAN-PC/104.
