XEMICS CoolRISC™ microcontrollers

Project-XE

Phyton is the only company in the market offering a complete development tool solution for selected types of the CoolRISC® microcontrollers produced by XEMICS S.A.

What is the Project-XE? This is a tool set that includes hardware and software tools for developing applications based on the XE8000 microcontrollers from XEMICS under control of one integrated development environment (IDE). The following configurations can be ordered:

Set IDE & CoolRISC GNU tools PDS-XE PICE-XE
Project-XE/ESA

A full package includes the CoolRIDE compiler kit produced by XEMICS and Phyton tools - PICE-XE in-circuit emulator, PDS-XE software debugger/simulator, and ChipProg+ universal programmer integrated under control of the project IDE. The IDE with an embedded editor, project manager, PDS-XE software simulator and the XEMICS CoolRISC GNU compiler and assembler (the CoolRIDE compiler kit) is a common part of the Project package. This tool set provides a complete development cycle, from editing source texts, to getting debugged code, and "burning" it into a target microcontroller.

Is just a certain "Project-XE/xxx" a proper part number for ordering? No, the PICE-XE emulator can include distinct boards and adapters that support different target derivatives and packages. So you should find exact part numbers of the emulator boards, which you need and then put them on your quote request or purchase order.
