Analogue probes |
|
Since the
start of its activities 55 years ago, a significant part of PONSEL
R&D budget has been dedicated to the continuous improvement of its
sensors offer in order to meet the needs of a wide spectrum of
application fields : laboratories, industrial processes, waste or
drinking water treatment plants, natural surface or underground
waters, fish farming, and so on. |
|
pH PONSEL probe
Universal pH probe on the total range : 0 to 14 pH.
The probe is composed of :
· One "glass electrode" formed by a very thin bulb of glass
sensitive to the pH and welded with the extremity of a crystal
tube. The electric resistance of this probe is about 10 000
Mégahoms.
A removable polyethylene strainer protects the pH glass.
· One "reference electrode" (type Ag/AgCl) with plasticized
electrolyte saturated with KCL "PLASTOGEL"®. |

|
ORP probe
The sensor is composed of :
- A "Platinum electrode" made of a Platinum thread welded to the
extremity of a crystal tube. A removable polyethylene strainer
protects the activate part of the electrode.
- A "reference electrode" Ag/AgCl type with an electrolyte
coated with plastic saturated with KCI "PLASTOGEL"®
The "PLASTOGEL"® electrolyte is directly in contact with the
environment without capillary or porous interposition. There is
no risk of reference blocking or defusing. |

Dissolved Oxygen
probe
The Dissolved Oxygen sensor is a Clark type sensor based on the
measurement of the current generated by an electrochemical
reaction |
|
|
|
Inductive
Conductivity probe
CTZ-S10 sensor based on electromagnetic induction
(0-350 mS/cm) tailored for measurements in very dirty industrial
mediums ( ex : chemical surface treatments)

Suspended Solid
MES probe
The MES PONSEL probe is an optical sensor based on the Infra-Red
optical absorption allowing to obtain a direct reading in g/l.
It exists a version with an automatic cleaning system (with the
aid of a scraping piston). |
|
|
|
Turbidity probe
Optical sensor based on the same principle than the Suspended
Solid probe (MES PONSEL probe), this Turbidity probe allows to
follow Turbidity of a water in mg/l or NTU.
It exists a version with an automatic cleaning system (with a
scraping piston).

|
Nephelometric
Turbidity probe
The Nephelometric Turbidity PONSEL sensor uses 2 signals (90 and
180°) which are traited by ratiometry and the transmitted light
(180°C) is the reference.
Variations of the transmitted and diffused (90°) lights are the
same, measurements are independents from the fluctuations of the
emissive source of light and the colour of the water. |
